We welcome the announcements by Ireland, Norway and Spain that they will recognise the State of Palestine.
We believe that recognition of Palestine is a requirement of international law, justice and conscience. It is an extremely important step in terms of restoring the usurped rights of the Palestinian people under occupation and achieving the status Palestine deserves in the international community.
Türkiye will continue to make efforts for more countries to recognise Palestine.
