We have learned with sadness that many people lost their lives and thousands had to leave their homes as a result of the floods and landslides caused by the tropical storm "Paeng" (Nalgae) that continues to affect the southern and central parts of the Philippines.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the relatives of those who lost their lives as well as to the friendly people and the Government of the Philippines and wish speedy recovery to the injured.
