We are deeply saddened that the Typhoon Odette which has affected central and southern Philippines has caused the loss of lives of many people and forced hundreds of thousands to leave their homes.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the relatives of those who lost their lives as well as to the friendly people and the Government of the Philippines and wish speedy recovery to the injured.
