Sweden wants energy chapter to be opened to negotiations with Turkey

TurkishPress.com – Sweden - the country to assume the EU term presidency in July - will work towards opening the energy chapter to negotiations with the EU candidate Turkey.

Speaking to reporters in Brussels, the Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt said, "Europe talks about energy to a large extent and this issue concerns Turkey very much. It will be interesting to open the energy chapter to negotiations with Turkey". It will be wise for everyone to open the energy chapter to negotiations with Turkey, Reinfeldt stated.
